Merry Christmas Everyone! 

 

This is the first song of our From The Vault series where we'll be sharing demos we never got around to fully recording. So, please keep that in mind while listening. 

 

They're all basically first takes that we then shelved so as to focus on the songs we were recording for whatever project we were working on at the time.

Thanks to those of you who have encouraged me to do what I otherwise would not do - share these songs. Obviously, the idea was to finish them. But it doesn't look like that's going to happen any time soon. In any event, the music and lyrics are finished enough for you to get the idea. 

 

The first song we're sharing here now is called Natalia. It was lying around for some 20 years and was always intended as a Christmas song. But I didn't really have any lyrics. So, toward the end of 2018 during a break from the EP sessions I wrote the lyrics and it turned into a love song to my wife and Christmas song in one.
